We are pleased to welcome Deirdre A. Fox as a Partner with the firm. Deirdre concentrates her practice on complex litigation, intellectual property and employment. She has represented companies in federal and state courts nationwide in a variety of industries including food, consumer products, building and manufacturing products, pharmaceuticals and health insurance. She manages al facets of large, complex cases including high stakes, multi-jurisdictional litigation involving novel legal theories, and has first-and second- chaired trials.
With a background in both science and the arts, Deirdre creatively and effectively serves clients from start-up companies to larger enterprises. She received her B.S. from Northwestern University in Materials Science and Engineering and her J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. Deirdre maintains an art studio presently at Hyde Park Art Center where she exhibits her art work. She has received numerous awards and grants for her work.
With a focus on solving client’s problems and protecting their rights efficiently, Deirdre’s commercial and intellectual property litigation practice encompasses a wide array of disputes, claims and risk management. She regularly writes and speaks on intellectual property issues. Deirdre is Immediate Past Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Intellectual Property Section and serves on the llinois State Bar Association Professional Conduct Committee. She is also Co-Chair of in-person programming for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in the Law.
