Counsel George D. Sax judged the semifinal round of the American Bar Association's Law Student National Negotiation Competition which took place at ABA headquarters in Chicago on February 3-4, 2018. The competition brought in two-person teams of top law students from across the country to engage in simulated contract and settlement negotiation to practice and hone their skills.
Mr. Sax and a panel of three other experienced practicioners judged the exercise, provided feedback and practice tips before deciding which of sixteen teams would advance from the semifinal to the final round. A team from Univeristy of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law took first place, with teams from University of Oregon, Texas Tech University, and Western New England School of Law also advancing to the finals.
