Morgan Churma joined an esteemed panel of legal technology experts for the November 21, 2019 Above the Law webinar, “How Mid-Size Law Firms are Courting Corporate Clients with Technology.” The webinar was hosted by Jared Correia, Esq., Founder and CEO of Red Cave Law Firm Consulting. Joining Mr. Churma was AJ Shankar, CEO and Co-Founder of Everlaw, one of the earliest cloud-based e-discovery platforms. The panel addressed the changing legal landscape and opportunities that smaller and mid-size practices now have to compete for the most sophisticated and lucrative work. To seize these opportunities, strategic leveraging of technologies is key and include advanced security measures, the cloud, advanced file-type support and automation. Mr. Churma provided insights and examples of how the use of advanced technologies can improve client service, assure clients about the security of their information and assist smaller and mid-size firms respond to opportunities presented by corporate legal departments.
