Sarah Marmor Elected as Vice President of the Lawyers for the Creative Arts Board of Directors

Partner Sarah Marmor was elected as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Lawyers for the Creative Arts.  A passionate advocate of the arts, Ms. Marmor has been a Board member of LCA since 2013.  She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Court Theatre and chaired its 2018 Annual Benefit.

Since its inception in 1972 with a small group of volunteers,  LCA has grown exponentially enlisting more than 1800 lawyers to provide pro bono assistance to thousands of clients.   LCA conducts workshops on not-for-profit incorporation and tax exemption, seminars on the law of music, publishing, film, copyright and mentors young attorneys. In 2018 LCA provided service to over 2000 people and organizations in all areas of the arts.  LCA’s pro bono clients and supporters have praised the organization calling it “An Angel to the Arts.”  LCA is the only pro bono legal service organization in Illinois that is expert in all areas of the arts including visual, music, dance, literary, digital media and arts education.  For more information on Lawyers for the Creative Arts, please click here.
