As a Founding Partner of Scharf Banks Marmor LLC, Ms. Marmor’s commitment to diversity and inclusion extends to her support of the arts and arts organizations. The Firm was a Patron Sponsor of the Luncheon and is honored to support the LCA, which provides pro bono legal assistance to clients in all areas of art, culture, media, and entertainment, including the visual, literary, and performing arts.

The honorees at this year’s LCA Annual Luncheon included a distinguished group of attorneys and artists.   Carol Ann Been received the Thomas R. Leavens Award in recognition of her exceptional service to LCA and her three-year tenure as LCA’s President.  Robert Clifford and his wife Joan received LCA’s Distinguished Service to the Arts Award in recognition of their commitment to service and philanthropy to the causes of children and culture.  The Year of Creative Youth Arts Honorees included awards to Josephine Lee and Pierre Lockett and the groups they lead—The Chicago Children’s Choir and Forward Momentum.  The audience enjoyed music and dance performances by these amazing groups.
