Stephanie Scharf Receives Salute! Women in Law Award

The Chicago Lawyer/Chicago Daily Law Bulletin has announced that Partner Stephanie A. Scharf has been named an honoree of the inaugural Salute! Women in Law Awards.   “This is the inaugural year for the award and over 500 nominations were received,” stated Ginger Lamb, Vice President and Publisher of Law Bulletin Media. “Fifty honorees were chosen for their work to mentor and promote other women in the profession, their success in the legal community and being a shining example of leadership.”

Stephanie is a co-founder of Scharf Banks Marmor LLC, a nationally prominent women-owned law firm.  In addition to her law practice, Stephanie leads national data-based initiatives for advancing women in the law.    As a past President of the National Association of Women Lawyers, she founded the continuing NAWL Annual Survey of Women in Law Firms and the National Survey of Women's Initiatives.  Through the American Bar Association, Stephanie conducted the first-ever Survey of Women as First Chairs at Trial.  Stephanie currently chairs the ABA’s Commission on Women in the Profession,  where she innovates with such programs as first World Forum for Women in Law to be held in in the U.S. and her recently  co-authored, “Walking Out the Door:  The Facts, Figures and Future of Experienced Women Lawyers in Private Practice.”   For more about the Award, go to:   https://lawbulletinmedia.com/law-bulletin-seminar/salute-2020/
